Dear Friends,

On Friday, the 14th of September, the President of the United States asked all Americans to go to a house of worship at noon and pray for the innocent victims of this tragedy, and for our country.

Music is my church. I have found solace in the ether of sound that I have never felt in any formal house of worship. I sat that day at Noon. I heard the service start at the National Cathedral, playing in the background of my room. And I thought, what can I do, what can I offer to the heavens and the memory of these souls lost.

And so I turned on my Keyboard and sent up a prayer in my own way. This is a record of that prayer, an homage to everyone affected by this overwhelming tragedy. Those whose lives were stolen, the families who must now mourn and find some way to carry on, and a country which will be forever marked by this breach of humanity.
